Removal of the tumor is generally sufficient in the treatment of such tumors. In addition, radiotherapy or chemotherapy may be necessary in some cases.

Malignant tumors may be caused by the bone itself, or by tumors originating from another organ. (Tumors, breast, prostate and colon tumors) Such tumors are the diseases in which more than one unit should be monitored and treated together.
